Protest at probation plans for city centre

The Probation Service’s plans to open up an office in Henry Street in Dublin’s city centre has attracted ire from some members of the local business community who argue that a centre for probation clients will not be in keeping with the corporate identity of the area.  http://www.irishtimes.com/newspaper/ireland/2010/0401/1224267475695.html

The Irish Probation Service’s headquarters are based in Smithfield and have a long established association with the area.
