Dublin Institute of Technology are seeking applications for the post of Assistant Lecturer in Law (five year fixed term).
The successful candidate will have a first or second class degree in a related discipline as well as three years relevant experience subsequent to this. The candidate will also ideally have:
- A masters degree in a related discipline
- PhD
- Third-level lecturing experience
- Record of academic research
- Knowledge of MS Office Suite
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
The successful candidate will be expected to pursue a research agenda and maintain an output of academic writings to contribute to the overall research output of the School. In addition to this, the primary role of lecturing shall encompass weekly classes, supervision of postgraduate students, assessment and evaluation of students, contributing to course development and other related duties.
