The Centre for Criminal Justice and Human Rights at University College Cork will hold its 8th Annual Graduate Conference on 5th and 6th June 2014.
The keynote speakers will be Professor Jeremy Waldron of Oxford and Professor Carol Sanger of Columbia and the theme of the conference is ‘Justice and Dignity Under Challenge’. Applicants are asked to consider how intransigent law-making can negatively impact human rights protection and criminal law.
The call for papers went out today, and submissions are requested to be no more than 300 words, and should be sent no later than Friday 30th March (20th for full papers). Applicants can be from law or related disciplines such as politics and the social sciences.
